It has been a long journey for Tony, after deciding he wanted to become an Osteopath when he was 15. Being a local boy, Tony completed VCE at Emmaus College, Forest Hill, in 1989, and unable to enter Osteopathy at this time, enrolled in nursing at LaTrobe University. Tony started his graduate year at Maroondah Hospital, and proceeded in the next 3 years to work extensively in hospitals throughout Melbourne, and in 1995/1996, at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Upon his return to Melbourne in 1996, Tony worked at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, until that fateful day in January, 1997, when while on holidays in Perth, found out the after 4 attempts he had been accepted to study Osteopathy at RMIT. During his osteopathic training, Tony continued to work casually as a nurse in many different hospitals in eastern Melbourne.

After graduating, Tony worked at Rosanna Osteopathic Clinic, and then at Bendigo Osteopathic Clinic. In 2004, Tony went full time at Forest Hill, and hasn’t looked back.

Tony was married to Sharon in 2007, and has two beautiful boys; Adam , who is 4, and Lewis, 1. Tennis and cricket remains Tony’s major sporting pursuits, though the Geelong Football Club remains his greatest sporting love. Tony has long stated that there were no appointments available for the next 3 days after Geelong won the 2008 premiership!

As an osteopath, Tony's theory is simple: come in to my clinic, we’ll fix your problem as quickly and as cost effectively as possible, then you can go and come back if the need arises again. No sales pitch, no ready made maintenance plan.

This was Tony’s dream when he was 15; things haven’t changed much.
